Climbing requires many different micromovements, whether we're climbing stairs, a curb, a stile or a mountain!
Let's break this complex movement into micromovements, best practised on a small step to start with, such as a book, progressing to a step in your house.

The actual climbing over of the top part is very much like this 'step over' movement, which you can practise in your home, over a stool or stack of books.
