helping women and children gently realign and move their bodies,
for pain-free living
movement coaching/therapy
By re-learning simple every day movements that you take for granted, you can improve your joint mobility and strengthen muscles and bones in a gradual, healthy, natural and enjoyable way, supporting your body's innate ability to heal itself and thrive.
I'm a bit like a personal trainer - not in a gym setting though but in your home, my treatment room in Harpsden and out walking in nature.
gait analysis
Slow right down, focusing your attention on how you take each step. Try out a few, simple adjustments and notice the difference in how it feels in one or a few individual sessions outdoors.
Additional sessions indoors can be useful as the way you walk can also be improved lying down with very targeted movements of the feet, ankles, knees, hips, arms and neck.
gait workshops
Slow right down, focusing your attention on how you take each step. Try out a few, simple adjustments and notice the difference in how it feels in a group session.
Natural mindfulness walks
Come on a local walk designed to reconnect with nature and support your health and wellbeing in several different ways.
Massage/Soft Tissue Therapy
Hands-on therapy as a way of facilitating movement, releasing tension and giving a sense of lightness to your body. Provided on a mat on the floor in the position that suits the individual body the best - sometimes seated, side lying or on hands and knees, using bolsters as needed, in combination with a restorative position or exercise (which is simply an extra dose of the missing movement).

LEARN ABOUT YOUR BODY
I created the VTR as a self-care space where you can learn how to sit, stand, balance, walk, squat and relax in a way that gradually improves whole-body mobility and strength, so you can become your own personal trainer.

HEAL YOUR BODY
You will learn how to self-massage and heal minor soft tissue injuries, how to tune in to nature and your inner sensations, how to identify and release tension and how to infuse movement in your daily life, improving your health and general wellbeing, helping you become your own therapist.

SHARE YOUR WISDOM

Once you start seeing progress in yourself, you can start sharing your wisdom with your family and friends and even clients if you work in the health, fitness or education sector.
